
The Faculty of Computer Science, Brawijaya University (FILKOM UB) has officially opened the 6th Asia Pacific Internet Engineer (APIE) Camp on Monday, February 10, 2025, at the Algorithm Auditorium, FILKOM UB. This event is part of the Asia Pacific Internet Engineering (APIE) Program, an international training initiative aimed at enhancing students’ skills in internet engineering through global collaboration.
APIE Camp at UB 2025 is being held from February 10 to 14, 2025, with preparations starting on February 7, 2025. The program is attended by 24 students from various countries, supported by 30 international instructors and mentors. The opening ceremony began with a report from the Chairman of APIE Camp #6, Achmad Basuki, S.T., M.MG., Ph.D.. This was followed by a speech from Prof. Keiko Okawa, Director of SOI Asia, before the event was officially opened by the Dean of FILKOM UB, Prof. Ir. Wayan Firdaus Mahmudy, S.Si., M.T., Ph.D.
With the successful opening of this event, it is expected that participants will gain new insights, expand their international networks, and enhance their skills in internet engineering.
