Hello, Youth Generation!
The Animation and Creative Design Contest is organized in collaboration between Institut français d’Indonésie (IFI) and GOBELINS Paris, a world-renowned French school in creative design (cartooning, graphic and interactive design, video games, photography, etc.).
Every year, GOBELINS Paris organizes thematic Summer Schools during the summer that allow young people to develop their skills concretely within the framework of projects guided and accompanied by a team of expert teachers, in various fields (2D animation, 3D animation, storytelling…).
The winner of the contest will have the opportunity to attend the two-week Game Art Summer School in July 2024. The summer school will give participants the opportunity to deepen their skills in concrete and technical methods and tools for designing and producing video games. It is possible to encourage individual and collective progress (readings and workshops) and to produce short playable series, presented in demo videos. In two weeks, participants of the summer school will ensure the design, production and integration of a series of assets used to create a small 3D platformer level game. Each participant will receive an unblocking level, included in the difficulty adaptation and gameplay choices. All levels will then be placed from the beginning and end to provide a play experience where everyone can traverse each participant’s creation.
Through this contest, you will have the opportunity to get the following prizes:
- The winner will receive a scholarship to attend the Summer School Game Art at GOBELINS Paris school in July 2024.
- This scholarship corresponds to a two-week Summer School registration, incl:

- Breakfast and dinner at a typical French restaurant
- Accommodation for 13 nights in Paris: one room (breakfast included)
