The Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) at Brawijaya University (UB) has officially extended its academic and research collaboration with the Graduate School of Environmental Studies at Tohoku University, Japan. This extension, formalized in the “Extension of Agreement,” will take effect on December 19, 2024, and extend the partnership until December 18, 2029.

The agreement was signed by the Dean of FILKOM UB, Prof. Ir. Wayan Firdaus Mahmudy, S.Si., M.T., Ph.D, on February 6, 2025, and the Dean of the Graduate School of Environmental Studies at Tohoku University, Prof. Toshiaki Yoshioka, on January 21, 2025.

This collaboration has been in place since December 19, 2019. With this extension, both institutions aim to further strengthen their partnership in academic and research fields.
