Faculty of Computer Science, University of Brawijaya (FILKOM UB) is conducting research collaboration with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway and requires several Research Assistants.
Incentive:
Research Assistant program participants receive an incentive of IDR 1,200,000 per month.
Program Duration:
The Research Assistant Program is implemented for 1 (one) semester (March-July 2024) and can be extended if necessary.
Condition:
- Active student at FILKOM UB.
- Have abilities in the required research topic area.
- Have Python/mobile programming/C++ programming skills.
Selectable research topics:
- Usability of biometric based authentication solutions – Presentation attack detection, different use environment (lighting, posture, etc.), abstract representation (e.g., a cartoon in real time) to replace the real face for privacy protection against “over-shoulder” looking / recording, operational challenges for disabled, young, elderly, etc.
- Privacy-preserving biometrics for wheelchairs
- Proxy ReEncryption and updateable encryption for sharing health data
- Mobile app development
- Secure biometric based authentication implementation using C++
