FILKOM UB is pleased to announce that a Summer Course will be held from September 5th to 17th, 2023. This intensive program is designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in various fields of computer science, while also fostering international collaboration and cultural exchange.

During the Summer Course, participants will engage in a series of specialized lectures, practical workshops, and hands-on projects led by renowned professors and industry experts. The curriculum will cover cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence (AI), mobile apps. development, and AR/VR. Through interactive sessions and collaborative activities, students will have the chance to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios and gain valuable insights from industry best practices. Furthermore, the Summer Course will offer various networking opportunities, allowing participants to connect with fellow students, researchers, and professionals from different countries. Cultural immersion activities and excursions to local landmarks will also be organized, providing a glimpse into the rich heritage and vibrant community of the host country.

Course Recognition and Assessment Component

The Summer Course offers the following key components for course recognition and scoring of assessment:

  1. Course Recognition: Participants will receive course recognition in the form of certificates or academic credits, depending on the agreements with their home institutions.
  2. Assessment Components: The program includes a variety of assessment methods such as individual assignments, group projects, presentations, and examinations.
  3. Weightage Allocation: Each assessment component will be assigned a specific weightage, clearly communicated to participants at the beginning of the course.
  4. Assessment Criteria and Rubrics: Participants will receive assessment criteria and rubrics, outlining the expectations and standards for each task.
  5. Qualified Evaluators: Competent instructors and evaluators will diligently assess the submitted work, considering technical content, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Final Score Compilation: Cumulative assessment results will be compiled to determine the final scores for participants.
  7. Evaluation Report: Participants will receive a comprehensive evaluation report, providing detailed feedback on their performance and areas for improvement.

The course recognition and transparent scoring system ensure the value and credibility of the Summer Course, validating participants’ achievements and supporting their educational journey in line with their home institutions’ requirements.

  1. Undergraduate students from Indonesia or overseas universities
  2. Proficient in English
  3. Committed to joining on-site
